About Richard Stubbs

Richard has been performing musically since childhood when he started out as trumpet player in orchestras and concert bands in Oldham near Manchester. He learnt the guitar in his teenage years and went on to work with the likes of Ian Brown, Clint Boon, Natalie Imbruglia and Swim Deep, in studios such as Abbey Road and Real World, onstage at Brixton Academy and the Reading Festival. Richard sings and plays acoustic guitar. He has original songs and knows 1,000s of covers through the decades. He can take requests should you wish to ask him to give something a go. He is a music teacher in the local area teaching class music as well as one to one instrumental tuition. Richard also has a covers band called Runaway Jukebox who regularly play at local pubs, clubs and bars.
