Dave Thomas is a talented and versatile musician who performs on accordion and piano, and sometimes even plays both together! His lively and engaging performances include a wonderful mix of upbeat, playful music alongside gentler and more familiar pieces, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone. Dave is particularly known for his beautiful performances of music from the French film Amélie, as well as his own original compositions. He has performed at venues, festivals and private events both in the UK and internationally, including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and New York Fashion Week, as well as touring in France and Brazil. His original music has also reached a huge audience, with his track Waking Dream gaining over 1.5 million plays on Spotify. Dave particularly enjoys connecting with his audience through music and storytelling, and his first care home performance at Home Heights in Portsmouth was a great success, with several residents even getting up for a dance! With his warm personality, expressive playing and varied repertoire, Dave looks forward to bringing his music to more care homes and creating memorable moments for residents.
